  This website is adopted from the first edition of the printed guide to Kasubi Tombs which was published by CRATerre-ENSAG and prepared within the framework of the Africa 2009 programme. This guide is intended for those who want to know more about the Ganda culture and specifically the Kasubi Tombs. By purchasing this booklet you are financially supporting the conservation effort of this World Heritage Site.

The first section provides a detailed description of the location of the tombs in Uganda. It then proceeds to guide the reader through the culture of the Baganda people and presents the history of how the tombs gained cultural significance.

The next section provides a detailed description of the tombs with photographs allowing the reader to visualize the site inside and out. A detailed visual explanation is provided of the anthropological significance of the tombs to the Baganda people. The thatching technique and bark cloth are also discussed in this section enabling the user to become familiar with the amazing skills of the Baganda people.
